WELCOME to Flying C Lofts new website. Thanks for stopping by. I am a small loft located in Winchester, Indiana. Home of the worlds Fastest half mile race track in the world. Now home to one of the fastest pigeon family of the world.
I work on keeping the main pigeons of these families genetic pools strong as possible. The reason behind this is to create a stronger gene pool of a certain pigeon. Then to cross the two strong genes together to produce a great racer. After all that is what we all look for in our pigeons. Each pair of breeders is placed into individual breeding pens. This way I am 100% sure of the parents of the babies they produce. If different hen is used she is ten days away from all cocks in the loft. I know what pairs produce and which to cull. Breeders can tell you anything to sell a pigeon. Can you be sure you get what you pay for. At Flying C Lofts you can be sure you get the pigeon that is advertised. Not just because the hen and cock set on the eggs.
I have proven breeders. Producers of Money winners, Stock with race records. I have a cock from Staff Van Reet himself. A cock that was raced in Great Britain with 3 1st and 5 seconds against over 1000 birds. I have worked on bring better stock into the loft year after year. I continue to look for better stock. Each year I send to a couple of futurity races. G.N.E.O. and the Miami Valley sportsman futurity race. I do well at the club level before the G.N.E.O. futurity race. My pigeons make top ten percent against 200+ pigeons in club races. I am working on sending to one loft races with my pigeons.
